At British Sugar, he was Finance Director whilst it was private (one of the first companies to undergo this process from 25% owned by HMG), profits increased 10 X and budget increased by circa. 50%.
At Norton Company, he was Finance Director for the European division of this
At both Esso Eurpore and Esso UK, he held various positions in marketing, labour relations and operations within UK and Europe whilst company was restructuring and improving productivity of Continental European and UK marketing and distribution functions, resulting in significant productivity improvements.
